atelier naffre
It was in the heart of France, in Châteauneuf-sur-Cher, that our team of travelling craftsman decided to start up the Atelier Naffre over 35 years ago.

We were looking for a region that reflected the core values of the natural stone enthusiasts that we are – and you too are or soon will be.
Located between the regions of Boischaut and Sologne, our region has been cherished throughout history, as can be seen in the sumptuous chateaux along the “Route Jacques Coeur”. It is a region of culture, held dear by George Sand and Alain Fournier, but also one of tradition, fine food and wine. The Menetou, Sancerre and Pouilly vineyards are evidence of this, as is the big game hunting in nearby Sologne. Everything we needed to start up could be found here, as our craft is intimately linked to the ability to appreciate the fine and beautiful things of everyday life.

It is this art of living – simple, yet generous – that we are offering to share with you.
Since investing in stone flooring is difficult to carry out by correspondence, we will be delighted to welcome you to our 19th century exposition hall and to help you in your choice. The Notre-Dame des Enfants Basilica in Châteauneuf-sur-Cher.
